Mark Revision Ninja as a trusted app in Google Workspace for Education
For Google Workspace administrators whose pupils sign in with a school Google account.
Last updated 19 September 2026
This one is for your school's Google Workspace for Education administrator. It only matters if your pupils sign in to Revision Ninja by choosing “Continue with Google” with a school-managed Google account, and some of them are under 18.
Google Workspace for Education restricts which third-party apps under-18 accounts may use. Until an administrator marks Revision Ninja as trusted, those pupils can be blocked at the Google sign-in screen. Nothing in Revision Ninja changes this; the setting lives entirely inside your own Google Admin console.
Steps for a Google Workspace administrator
- Sign in to your Google Workspace for Education admin account.
- Open the Admin console and choose Security.
- In the Security menu, choose Access and Data Control, then API Controls.
- Under App access control, choose Manage third-party access.
- In the Accessed Apps area, click View list.
- Find Revision Ninja in the list, select it, and click Change access.
- Set the access to Trusted.
- Click Change access again to save.
If Revision Ninja is not in the list
An app only appears in Accessed Apps once someone at your school has tried to sign in with it. Ask one member of staff to open the sign-in page, choose “Continue with Google”, and then refresh the list.
Revision Ninja signs in through Firebase Authentication, so the entry may be listed under the sign-in domain revision-ninja-ltd.firebaseapp.com. That is us.
If your school does not use Google
Then there is nothing to do. Revision Ninja also supports Microsoft accounts and plain email-and-password sign-in, and neither is affected by this Google policy. That is also the way in while you sort the setting out: go to the sign-in page and use “Continue with Microsoft”, or create an account with the school email address and a password.
We cannot see your Google Workspace configuration, so only your own administrator can confirm the setting. How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy notice. For anything else, email hello@revisionninja.com.
