NCFE Business & Enterprise for your department
One course: the NCFE Level 1/2 Technical Award in Business and Enterprise, Ofqual qualification number 603/7004/X. You buy a number of seats for a year at a time. Pupils who sign in with your school email address take a seat themselves, and you get a console that shows what each of them needs to revise.
The course holds 76 lessons, 97 quizzes and 940 questions, counted from the live course on 10 October 2026.
What your school gets
Pupils take a seat when they sign in
You buy a number of seats. Pupils who sign in with your school email address take one automatically, up to that number, and colleagues you’ve added as staff don’t use one. You can remove a pupil to free their seat, but removing a pupil deletes their progress on this course, so only remove pupils who have left.
A page for every pupil
Each pupil’s page names the topics they need to work on, drawn from their quizzes, practice mistakes, Diagnostic Test and self-marked past papers, and links to the lesson or quiz to do next. It matches what the pupil sees on their own Progress page.
A printed report for parents’ evening
One click prints an A4 page per pupil for a whole class or year group: strengths, what to improve and what to do at home, a unit-by-unit table, a comments box, and an empty end-of-unit test grid for all 8 units that you fill in by hand.
The Diagnostic Test, pupil by pupil
One row per pupil with their weakest units, the named topics they got wrong, answers they were sure of but got wrong, and their strongest unit. There’s a heatmap view, and it prints or downloads as a CSV. The test is teacher-visible, and pupils are told so.
Set work, and see who did it
Set lessons and quizzes with a due date, see who has finished each one, and share the work to Google Classroom or Microsoft Teams with a button.
A re-teach list for the class
Lists the units where at least half the pupils with results are below Strong, names the weak topics, and separates misconceptions from gaps. It prints as a handout, and it fills up once pupils have sat the Diagnostic Test.

How to order
Pay by card now
- Pick a plan on the pricing page.
- Sign in with your school email address. The licence attaches to the account that buys it.
- Type your school’s name when asked. It names the school that will own the seats.
- Pay by card through Stripe. Access appears on your account straight away.
Send a payment link
- Start the same way, then choose “Ask someone else to pay”.
- Copy the payment link and send it to whoever pays.
- The link expires after 24 hours.
- Once it is paid, the seats land on your account, not theirs.
Quote or purchase order
- Email us your school name, billing address, finance email address, how many seats you need, and a PO number if you have one.
- We reply with a quote or an invoice.
- Stripe issues an invoice for every card payment.
Pupils do not redeem anything. They sign in with their school email address and their seat is claimed for them. How pupils get access covers the detail, including what to do for a pupil who only has a personal address.

Which qualification does this cover?
One qualification only: the NCFE Level 1/2 Technical Award in Business and Enterprise, Ofqual qualification number 603/7004/X. The course follows the specification’s eight content areas: entrepreneurship, business organisation and stakeholders; market research, market types and orientation and marketing mix; human resource requirements; operations management; business growth; sources of enterprise funding and business finance; the impact of the external environment; and business and enterprise planning.
How is the qualification assessed?
Two externally-set assessments. The non-exam assessment (NEA) is a synoptic project worth 120 marks and 60% of the award; it is internally marked and externally moderated, with a completion time of 21 hours. The examined assessment is a 1 hour 30 minute written exam worth 80 marks and 40% of the award, with a mixture of multiple-choice, short-answer and extended-response questions.

Can we pay by invoice or purchase order?
Yes. Choose ‘Ask someone else to pay’ on any plan for a payment link you can forward to your finance office, or email us for a quote or an invoice against a purchase order. Stripe issues an invoice for every card payment.
How long does a licence last?
One year from the purchase date. It is a one-off payment, not a subscription: nothing renews, and there is no card kept on file to renew it with.
Can we try it before we buy?
Every school plan has a free 7-day trial. Start it with your school email address and your school is set up straight away: students who sign in with an address on the same email domain get a seat automatically, up to the plan’s seat count, and everyone’s trial ends on the same day. Buy at any time during or after the trial and your students keep their progress.
