The qualification is assessed in two parts: a non-exam assessment worth 60% — an externally set, internally marked and externally moderated synoptic project — and an externally set, externally marked written exam worth 40%. Overall grades are L1P, L1M, L1D, L2P, L2M, L2D and L2D*.
